Position Overview:
Controlling activities within the Business Unit (Assets, Product Costs, Inventories) Responsibilities Would Include:
Create, monitor, and analyze monthly cost reports, spending, and production order variances.
Responsible for KPI' calculations and CM2 Review.
Support Marketing and Engineering in government contract cost, margin estimates, and subsequent audits.
Creation of new product cost additions.
Evaluate and maintain quarterly obsolete & slow-moving inventory.
Develop monthly P&L forecasts of the business units.
Monitor spending and capitalization of Fixed Assets.
Facilitate annual preparation of product standard costs for business unit.
Support annual external financial audits.
Preferred Education and
Experience:
BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or related major; MBA preferred.
10 -1 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience in a manufacturing setting (SAP/ERP experience) US Citizenship or residency required Additional Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Communication, project management, technical management, technical understanding, analyzing information, problem solving, strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
