Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited LIMS systems maintenance, updates, and transfers.
Responsibilities will also include quality functions such as but not limited to:
participating in audits; monitoring quality matrices; maintain quality management systems and providing analytical and quality reports.
He / She will be responsible for the analysis, calculation of results and calibration and maintenance of analytical instrumentation.
The team-oriented work environment has a primary focus on efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
Principle Duties:
Maintain and update LIMS Systems and quality management systems.
Participate in internal and external audits and customer visits as necessary.
Asist in maintaining the ISO1975 and ISO 9001 requirements.
Work with GTP production, quality, and R&D departments to meet quality needs and expectations under the guidance of the quality manager and lab manager using the quality management systems.
Prepare and report Analytical; Environmental; and Quality reports.
Provide monthly quality matrix reports while monitory these matrices.
Maintain the Specification documentation in systems such as SAP and Q.
wiki as needed Maintain 5S and LEAN practices of assigned areas, instruments, and equipment.
Always observe company policies.
Test and inspect incoming, in-process, intermediate and finished materials.
Inspect, analyze, and report to SAP.
Perform chemical, physical, and metallurgical sample preparation and testing to determine product chemistry.
Prepare, analyze, interpret, and evaluate samples using analytical techniques.
Complete quality material transfers; quality result transfers (data flips) and quality certificate of analysis.
Maintain the quality labs Calibration systems.
This includes but limited to updating calibration files within the lab, sending out monthly calibration reports and sending instrumentation out for ISO17025 calibration.
Ensure compliance with prescribed safety practices and quality work standards.
Direct, train, and instruct employees whenever necessary to effectively complete work assignments.
Perform each phase of the operation in full compliance with all company, state, and/or federal safety and environmental regulations.
Education and Experience Associate degree or better is desired but not required.
Chemistry lab experience is desired but not required.
Position Requirements This is a 1st shift position.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and computer skills.
May be required to work weekends.
