Controlling activities within the Business Unit (Assets, Product Costs, Inventories) Responsibilities Would Include:
Monitor spending and capitalization of Fixed Assets.
Prepare accurate monthly cost reports, spending, production order variance reports.
Assist with KPI' calculations and CM2 Review.
Support Marketing and Engineering in government contract cost, margin estimates, and subsequent audits.
Contribute to the business unit for new product cost additions.
Assist with the evaluation of the quarterly obsolete & slow-moving inventory.
Work with controller on monthly P&L forecasts of the business units.
Provide assistance in the annual preparation of product standard costs for Towanda's business units.
Support annual external financial audits.
Preferred Education and
Experience:
BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or related major; MBA preferred.
3-10 years of Accounting/Finance experience in a manufacturing setting (SAP/ERP experience) Additional Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, communication, project management, technical management, technical understanding, analysing information, problem solving, strong work ethic, and can-do attitude.
Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
