Transportation Construction Inspector
Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Inspection of major roadway and bridge projects; testing of soils, concrete, and bituminous paving Calculation of quantities for estimate payments Review of construction schedules, and follow PennDOT documentation procedures Oversee, inspect, monitor contractual field work, CDS/NextGen operations, schedules work and inspection phases Recommends changes to construction plans to meet field conditions and provide project cost saving Maintain project records, prepare work orders, and monthly estimates Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma.
Five or more years experience in PennDOT construction inspection of highway or bridges preferred.
The following Certifications are preferred but not required for ENTRY LEVEL employees:
NICET transportation - Highway Construction Level I or higher ACI Concrete Field Testing Certification NECEPT Bituminous Pavement Field Technician certification NECEPT Concrete Field Testing Technician certification Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type:
